The village as a British subject
Village life has long fed British television, from Dibley to the settings of Midsomer. The village can mean somewhere real and familiar, or a fictional place we return to each week.
The official title is simply Villages. It leaves room for the design to recall a place you know, rather than tying the coin to one named location.

V appears in both alphabets. Its circulation mintages are 220,000 for 2018 and 84,000 for 2019.
The 2018 coin belongs to the first release. Choose 2019 if that is the set you are building, or keep one of each as a dated pair.
Put V beside a favourite place
