2019 W World Wide Web A-Z 10p Circulated Coin
The Royal Mint has released 26 10p coin designs. Their theme is the A to Z of Britain and each coin combines a letter of the alphabet with an aspect of quintessential Britishness.
This 10p features the letter ‘W’ inside a spider’s web, to represent the World Wide Web. It was invented by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989, and has since been central to the development of the information age.
